I have been busy working on the new design for this blog; how do you like it so far? There are still more changes to come, but I am taking a break to post all of our Valentine's Day Crafts & a Puffy Paint Polar Bear craft (as well as crafts on our other blog) from now until about mid-month.
The main focus in the upcoming months will be on easier navigation and finding past projects through Master Lists. Up 1st is the Handprint, Footprint, & Fingerprint Animals page. You will probably see it posted later this week!!! I have added also new categories like Jungle Animals, Keepsake Plates, DIY Home Decor, Birthday Crafts, & quite a few more. Next up will be the Holidays Page!
I created the Handprint & Footprint Animal Clip Art using past crafts from the archives. Using Photoshop, I added the dry brush filter, smudged some of the lines to fill in gaps/make the edges smoother, and then enhanced the colors using the auto contrast and selective color option.
The pink background in the header, the green font, the vines, and the brown frame were from a kit I purchased from
Just So Scrappy. I helped a friend
redo her blog using a kit from there a few months back too. Their kits are adorable, especially if you are into digital scrapbooks.
You will also see the menu bar at the top changing quite a bit over the next couple of months into a drop-down menu with a ton more options and an About Us section. Feel free to share your thoughts and I welcome any suggestions!
